About the Role:
Responsibilities:
The core responsibility of AR/VR Technician in this role is to assemble, repair, and deliver devices to the lab for automated end-to-end testing. The qualified candidate can expect to work closely with the Infra Eng. team, as well as several XFN partners, to coordinate and execute lab activities.
Day To Day Responsibility:
- Performs electrical and mechanical assembly work utilizing wiring diagrams and process instructions.
- Performs hand soldering, wiring, and assembling small complex components.
- Assembles mechanical fixtures and populates them with AR/VR devices and other electronics so they can be installed in the lab.
- Uses standard hand tools and various epoxies to perform operations.
- Performs work with microscopes for lengthy periods of time.
- Interfaces with quality assurance and test personnel to ensure subassemblies are inspected and tested at specified checkpoints.
- Performs rework and repairs as required.
- Performs limited, intermittent physical exertion.
- Works under acceptable conditions with some distraction due to occasional exposure to noise, dust, heat, or chemicals.
Must Have:
- High school diploma
- Minimum of five years of related electro-mechanical assembly experience
- Ability to read operation sheets and moderately complex diagrams
- Soldering skills
- Knowledge of electronic components
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as caliper and scale
- Ability to use formulas

Salary Range: $82,000
